Job summary

Tract seeks an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental diligence and compliance across our nationwide data center development portfolio. The role collaborates with internal teams, state and local authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure responsible development from site selection through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Science, Biology, Ecology, Chemistry, Archaeology, or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in managing the environmental portion of land development and construction projects throughout the United States. Data center experience greatly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with wetlands, stream delineation, vegetation inventories, wildlife surveys, endangered resource reviews, cultural/historic assessments, sound modeling and analysis, data collection and mapping.

Responsibilities

• Site Selection Support: Interpret environmental desktop resources to identify early risk indicators and due diligence questions.
• Project Development Support: Review assessments and investigations to vet sites and report findings.
• Project Construction Support: Track compliance with environmental regulations and obtain necessary permits.
• Interface with Government Agencies: Attend meetings and coordinate with permitting authorities.
• Community Interface: Represent Tract with stakeholders and neighboring communities.
