Job summary

Tract seeks an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental diligence and compliance across data center projects nationwide in the United States. You will work with internal teams, governments, utilities, and regulators to support site selection, permitting, and construction mitigation.

The role requires coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring environmental compliance throughout development, and delivering proactive solutions for complex environmental challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Science, Biology, Ecology, Chemistry, Archaeology, or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years’ experience managing the environmental portion of land development and construction projects throughout the United States. Data center experience greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Site Selection Support: Interpret environmental desktop resources to identify early risk indicators and due diligence questions.
• Project Development Support: Review environmental assessment, characterization and site investigations to vet prospective sites and assess risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate permitting: Assist in environmental permitting across federal, state, and local agencies and ensure timely submissions.
• Project Construction Support: Track compliance with environmental regulations, oversee stormwater management, and ensure hazardous materials handling per CERCLA and RCRA.
