Job summary
International Motors USA is seeking a Lead Environmental Specialist at the San Antonio plant to oversee day-to-day environmental operations, coordinate cross-functionally, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
The role focuses on building a strong Environmental, Health and Safety culture, maintaining ISO 14001, and leading environmental programs with cross-functional teams. Strong regulatory acumen and project management are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering with 2+ years EHS experience
- Master's degree with 1+ year EHS experience
- At least 5 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve environmental processes
- Create and maintain Safety, Health and Environmental culture
- Support ISO 14001 Certification initiatives
- Lead site environmental programs and projects
- Perform environmental assessments and studies
- Collaborate with Corporate Environmental Team on North America initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting to agencies
