Job summary

Tract is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead diligence and compliance for data center development across the United States. The role blends environmental engineering knowledge with site development, coordinating with internal teams, governments, consultants and contractors.

You will oversee environmental permitting, due diligence, wetlands, wildlife, and noise, while advocating sustainable approaches and ensuring timely project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Science or related field.
• Minimum eight years’ experience managing the environmental portion of land development and construction.
• Data center experience preferred.
• Travel to Tract markets may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental diligence across site selection, permitting, and construction.
• Coordinate environmental assessments, wetland delineation, wildlife surveys, and habitat assessments.
• Lead environmental permitting and compliance with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and regulators to integrate environmental considerations.
• Engage with communities and stakeholders at meetings as needed.
