Job summary

Tract is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to drive environmental diligence and compliance across nationwide data center projects. You will lead environmental assessments, permitting, and regulatory interactions while collaborating with internal teams, governments, and contractors.

This role emphasizes proactive problem solving, integrity, and strong communication to balance development goals with environmental stewardship across multiple sites in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or science, biology, ecology, chemistry, archaeology, or equivalent.
• At least eight years’ experience managing environmental components of land development and construction nationwide.
• Experience with wetlands, endangered resources, cultural/historic assessments and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental diligence throughout development, including site selection and permitting.
• Coordinate environmental teams and interface with regulatory agencies and communities.
• Oversee environmental compliance during construction and post-permitting activities.
• Manage reporting, risk assessment, and data collection for environmental constraints.
