Job summary

Tract is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to drive environmental diligence and compliance across data center development projects nationwide. You will lead assessments, permitting strategies, and regulatory interfaces with state and local agencies, coordinating with internal teams and contractors.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and eight years’ experience are required; data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Science, Biology, Ecology, Chemistry, Archaeology, or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in managing the environmental portion of land development and construction projects in the United States. Data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret environmental desktop resources for development property evaluation and due diligence questions.
• Review environmental assessments and site investigations to vet sites and assess risks.
• Manage environmental diligence items including wetlands, species, noise, air permitting, and mapping.
• Coordinate permitting across construction projects and ensure compliance with CERCLA and RCRA requirements.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to support project timelines.
• Monitor environmental impacts during construction and oversee mitigation practices.
• Lead communications with internal/external teams and maintain safety standards.
