Job summary

Pace Labs seeks a Scientist I to join its environmental testing laboratory in the United States. You will perform hands-on analysis with GC, HPLC and ICP on air, water and soil samples, and document results with precise records.

A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field is required; training is provided if needed. Hours are Tue–Sat, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM-related field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE and standing for extended periods.
• Training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC and ICP to analyze air, water and soil samples.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures, observations and results to maintain high-quality laboratory records.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
