Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is hiring a Scientist I for our environmental testing laboratory. This full-time role offers a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with compensation of $16.00 per hour.

You will perform hands-on analysis of air, water, and soil samples to help ensure the integrity of environmental data that protects communities. We seek curious, motivated individuals with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Biochemistry who can work effectively in a lab, maintain instruments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field; training provided as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and using PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality laboratory records.
