Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Scientist I to support environmental testing in our laboratory. You will perform hands-on analyses using GC, HPLC, ICP and related techniques, focusing on air, water, and soil samples to detect contaminants and ensure data quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field, with strong lab skills and a commitment to safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM is required or equivalent training.
• Strong lab skills and ability to follow established methods and SOPs.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and accurate data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on analysis in the lab using GC, HPLC, ICP and other methods.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret analytical results to ensure data integrity.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results in laboratory records.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments and keep PPE and PPE protocols.
