Job summary

Join Pace Analytical Services, LLC as a Scientist I in our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analysis and help ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry and offers training and career growth. Shift is Tue-Sat 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a compensation of $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field.
• Willing to train; Pace provides training.
• Ability to work in a laboratory setting, stand for extended periods, handle odors, and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations and results to maintain quality records.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
