Pace is seeking a Scientist I to join our on-site environmental testing laboratory in Madisonville, KY. You will conduct hands-on analyses of air, water, and soil samples, using GC, HPLC, and ICP, while documenting results to support data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related STEM field, with training provided as needed. Schedule is Tue–Sat, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM; combination of education/training acceptable.
• We provide training when needed.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including calibration.
• Document procedures, observations, and results accurately.
• Review and interpret data to support environmental assessments.
