Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Scientist to perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing laboratory. You will work Tue-Sat, 9:00am–5:30pm, operating GC, HPLC and ICP, and ensuring data integrity for air, water and soil samples.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field, with training provided to build proficiency in our methods and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment and wear PPE.
• Willingness to undergo training and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC and ICP to analyze samples.
• Analyze air, water and soil samples for contaminants using established methods.
• Review and interpret results and maintain accurate lab records.
• Document procedures and observations clearly and completely.
• Maintain, calibrate and clean laboratory instruments and equipment.
