Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands‑on analysis using GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments to ensure the integrity of environmental data across air, water, and soil samples.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related STEM field, with training provided as needed. Expect a Tuesday–Saturday shift and a 9:00am–5:30pm schedule in a lab environment that prioritizes safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment with PPE and safety protocols.
• Strong analytical and data-interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and other analytical equipment.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures, observations, and results clearly for quality records.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
