Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist in Brownsburg, IN. The role supports environmental testing and data integrity in an on-site laboratory.

Compensation is $20.00 per hour with full-time hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and opportunities to contribute to impactful scientific work. You will conduct hands-on analysis, operate GC/HPLC/ICP, and document results to ensure accurate environmental data for communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related STEM field (or equivalent).
• Willingness to train and learn in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Ability to work in a lab setting with PPE and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and other analytical equipment.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods for contaminants.
• Review and interpret sample analysis results.
• Document procedures, observations, and results accurately for records.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
