Job summary

The College of DuPage seeks a seasoned Manager, Environmental Health, Safety, and Risk Management to lead the college's risk programs, OSHA compliance, and safety operations.

You will develop budgets, coordinate risk assessments with the Illinois Community College Risk Management Consortium, supervise EH&S staff, and guide emergency response planning across campus. The role requires a bachelor's degree in EHS or related field, CSP preferred, and a strong record of regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• At least 3 years in risk management or safety with supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of safety requirements for various equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, implement, and evaluate risk management and EH&S programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and other laws.
• Develop budgets and coordinate insurance risk assessments.
• Coordinate emergency response planning with campus Police and departments.
• Hire, train, and evaluate Risk Management and EH&S staff.
• Oversee hazardous materials handling, storage, disposal, and safety compliance.
