Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc. seeks a Director to lead the risk management and OSHA compliance program for a college community.

You will plan, organize, and supervise occupational safety, workers’ compensation, and related policy enforcement to ensure a safe environment for students and staff. The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field, 5 years of direct experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate training and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 5 years of direct experience in risk management or occupational health and safety.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting OSHA compliance.
• Ability to learn, interpret, and communicate laws and policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel between campus locations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Identify, plan, develop, and implement comprehensive safety and health programs for all work areas.
• Perform needs analysis, coordinate safety training, and maintain training records.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and related regulations across campuses.
• Plan programs and safety events to enhance awareness and emergency procedures.
• Oversee centralized risk management and workers’ compensation processes district-wide.
• Coordinate inspections by external regulatory agencies and maintain records.
• Manage property, liability, and workers’ compensation insurance programs.
