Overview

Great Day Improvements / Champion Window is seeking an EHS Manager to serve as the primary safety contact within the plant. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role ensures compliance with safety policies, fosters a safety culture, and contributes to a positive employee environment, supporting the company's reputation as a "Destination Employer."

Salary Range

$78,000 - $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

1. Safety Compliance & Program Management: Serve as safety liaison, develop policies, conduct inspections, report safety metrics, oversee incident investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NIOSH).
2. Incident & Injury Management: Manage injury reports, conduct investigations, oversee return-to-work programs, and track injury trends.
3. Training & Employee Engagement: Facilitate OSHA training, manage PPE inventory, and monitor training completion.
4. Continuous Improvement & Special Projects: Lead safety initiatives, analyze audit data, develop safety procedures, and oversee safety signage and communication.
5. Culture & Referability: Implement safety campaigns, engage employees, prepare safety reports, and contribute to a safety-first culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years in EHS, safety compliance, with OSHA 30 Certification (manufacturing preferred)
• Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Influential leadership style and ability to build relationships
