Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Geospatial Analyst to join the Environmental Services Geospatial team in the US West. You will deliver mapping, spatial analysis, and map production, while mentoring project teams across multiple offices.

You will work within an ESRI environment to develop web maps, dashboards, and data management workflows, supporting wetlands, habitats, cultural resources, and geotechnical projects. A strong GIS background and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field with GIS training
2-3 years of professional GIS Services experience
Experience delivering GIS products and analyses for environmental assessments is a plus

Responsibilities

Compile, create and maintain spatial and non-spatial data for ESRI platforms
Produce thematic map products and data analysis for multidisciplinary deliverables
Prepare web maps, dashboards, and manage data for field surveys
Support geospatial field data collection efforts (wetlands, habitats, resources)
Adhere to cartographic standards and QA/QC processes
Manage GIS data per data management standards
Collaborate with GIS staff across offices
Report to the US West Geospatial Team Lead
