Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC in Portland, ME is seeking a Geologist II to join our environmental team. You will collect, synthesize, and document data from investigated areas and support project documentation, with field site supervision as needed.

You will work from one of our offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Salt Lake City, Portland, Grand Junction, or Post Falls. The role requires initiative, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality results under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental engineering science and technology.
• Familiarity with RCRA, NPDES, CWA, and related regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data presentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, investigations, and cleanups in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians to collect and evaluate data for project objectives.
• Prepare technical evaluations and contribute to written project documentation.
• Provide field support and supervise field activities as needed.
• Assist in safety culture and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
