Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking a Geologist III to join our team and support environmental projects. The position can be based in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, Post Falls, ID, Salt Lake City, UT, or Portland, ME, with field support as needed.

You will mentor junior staff, lead technical documentation and support Project Managers, applying strong environmental engineering knowledge to ensure compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, physical or environmental science, or environmental engineering.
• 7–15 years of experience on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Work with environmental technicians in data collection and evaluation to support project objectives.
• Prepare technical evaluations and provide guidance for documentation and permits.
