Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks a Geologist III to join our team across Anchorage, Fairbanks, AK; Post Falls, ID; Salt Lake City, UT; or Portland, ME. You will collect, synthesize, and document data from investigated areas, supporting project managers and mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates have 7–15 years in environmental projects, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent written communication. You will lead field support and help ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, physical or environmental science, or environmental engineering.
• Seven to fifteen years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and able to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, assessments, investigations, and data collection.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff preparing written documentation.
• Review permits, plans, reports, licenses to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff.
• Lead author technical documentation and act as technical liaison for clients.
• Promote proactive safety culture and high-quality deliverables.
• Perform other duties as directed.
