Job summary

WM is seeking a Landfill Gas Technician I to operate and maintain the landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS) at our site in Bucks County. The role requires hands-on work with wells, piping, pumps, and flare equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal gas collection performance.

The position involves field data entry, equipment troubleshooting, and participation in preventive maintenance plans, with on‑call responsibilities for GCCS-related malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Technical or trade school training in environmental science, mechanical systems, instrumentation, or related field preferred.
• Experience with gas collection or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GCCS to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Calibrate and monitor data collection devices for LFG collection optimization.
• Manage field data from wellfield extraction and monitoring locations.
