Job summary

WM is seeking a Landfill Gas Technician I in Louisville, KY to operate and maintain the gas collection and control system (GCCS) and associated data-collection equipment.

You will collect field data, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with liquid management and piping upkeep in a safety‑sensitive, outdoor environment. This on‑site role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Experience in environmental fieldwork or related hands‑on work environments is preferred.
• Fundamental computer data entry and interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GCCS to meet regulatory compliance and optimize performance.
• Calibrate and service data collection devices for LFG collection.
• Collect and manage data from wellfield extraction and monitoring locations.
