Job summary

RJN Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our team in the Irving, TX area. This role supports field inspection services across sanitary and storm sewers and other underground infrastructure under the direction of the Field Manager.

You will conduct manhole inspections, smoke testing, dye water flooding, and assist with flow meter installation and maintenance. Strong safety awareness and customer-facing professionalism are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical and cognitive abilities to perform confined space entry.
• Ability to read and interpret sewer and road maps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduction of field inspection services such as manhole inspection, smoke testing, and dye water flooding.
• Perform confined space entry work in manholes on a daily basis
• Assist with installation and maintenance of flow meters
• Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment and vehicles to ensure work can be performed in a safe and productive manner.
• Interact with clients and general public in a professional manner.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures contained in the RJN Group, Inc. Safety Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
• Travel and work overtime as required.
