Job summary

RJN Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician in Houston to assist with field inspection services for sanitary and storm sewers and underground infrastructure. You will support field teams under the Field Manager and contribute to safe, efficient project execution.

Responsibilities include manhole inspections, smoke testing, dye water flooding, and travel as needed. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required, along with basic computer skills and proficiency

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical skills with hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency with smartphones and tablets (iPads, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret sewer and road maps.

Responsibilities

• Conduce field inspection services such as manhole inspection, smoke testing, and dye water flooding.
• Perform confined space entry work in manholes daily.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of flow meters.
• Maintain and clean equipment and vehicles for safe, productive work.
• Interact with clients and general public professionally.
• Follow RJN Safety Manual and SOPs.
• Travel and work overtime as required.
