Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services is hiring for an on-site position in Alabama to support emergency response and remediation tasks. You will perform cleanup, operate equipment, and follow safety protocols while supporting daily operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and 40-hour HAZWOPER certification; prior environmental services experience is a plus. The role offers benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• Confined Space Entry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is priority by complying with safe work practices.
• Perform emergency response cleanup activities including chemical and water spills and waste handling.
• Sweep, dig, shovel, lift, and handle drums during cleanup.
• Operate cleanup equipment used in hazardous waste activities.
• Follow policies for storage of hazardous substances.
• Attend safety training as required.
• Respond to 24/7 Emergency Response calls as needed.
• Work long hours and overtime during day, night or weekend shifts.
• Support facility maintenance and other duties as required.
