Job summary

Tanknology is seeking a Field Service Technician Apprentice to join our nationwide environmental protection mission. You will learn through an apprentice-style program on job sites, performing testing, installations, and repairs while using TANCS to record findings.

This entry-level role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift 70 lbs, travel across multiple states, and pass DOT physical and background checks.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for tradeswork and site tasks.
• Strong communication and data entry skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel across states, with overnight stays when needed.
• Familiarity with field testing and basic software use.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and surveys.
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems.
• Enter and analyze test results and report findings to Operations.
• Manage inventory of parts on company vehicle.
