Job summary

Tanknology is recruiting a Field Service Technician Apprentice to learn through an apprentice-style program on job sites, performing testing, installations, and repairs, while using TANCS to record findings.

You will gain hands-on experience, progress toward certification across states, and receive comprehensive training with a clear path for advancement. Competitive starting pay includes a revenue bonus and potential for higher earnings as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling).
• Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times daily.
• Willingness to undergo DOT physical, drug screening, DMV check, and background check.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to travel across multiple states, occasionally staying overnight (hotel and per diem provided).
