Job summary

Tanknology, a United Uptime Services Company, is seeking a Compliance Field Service Technician (often starting as an apprentice) to join its nationwide team dedicated to preventing fuel leaks in tanks and piping systems. The role combines fieldwork, technical skills, and compliance responsibilities, with opportunities for training and certification.

This field-based position offers hands-on training, opportunities for certification, and travel across multiple states with occasional overnight

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to undergo DOT physical, drug screening, DMV check, and background check.
• Ability to travel across multiple states, sometimes overnight.
• Field-based work on various job sites.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and surveys for compliance and safety.
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
• Install and test tank gauge systems and other equipment.
• Enter and analyze test results using TANCS software and communicate findings to Operations.
• Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on company vehicles.
• Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Maintain safety compliance in all work activities.
