Clean Harbors in Spokane, WA is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist to handle, package and inspect chemical waste at customer sites. This entry level role includes lab pack assistance, HHW collections and lab moves, with frequent travel and customer-facing duties.

You will start with company-sponsored CDL training, gain a Class B endorsement within 6 months, and advance into management paths after training. Work is indoors and outdoors, with safety as a priority.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license required.
• By position, obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and medical screening may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Pack and inspect chemical waste at customer locations.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the territory with some overnight travel.
• Assist with lab packs, HHW collections and lab moves at customer facilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies during packing and shipping.
• Operate safely in accordance with DOT and safety guidelines.
