Job summary

Koch Fertilizer, LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 program in Dodge City, Kansas. This 12-week paid internship offers hands-on experience with our EHS team working on environmental regulations, data analysis, and compliance management.

You will participate in permit reviews, reporting, and environmental assessments, gaining exposure to CAA, CWA, RCRA, SPCC, and related programs while balancing field experience with engineering analysis.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance programs and regulatory initiatives through permit reviews, reporting, and documentation.
• Analyze data and build tools to improve reporting and compliance tracking.
• Assist with sampling, inspections, audits, and monitoring to verify environmental performance.
• Contribute to incident investigations and continuous improvement projects with EHS teams.
