Job summary

Koch Fertilizer is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2027 in Dodge City, Kansas. This paid 12-week internship offers exposure to environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives within our EHS environment.

You'll work with the EHS team on regulatory reviews, data analysis, and engineering calculations across air emissions, wastewater, and waste management programs, gaining hands-on experience in a real facility setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree or other education program in environmental-related fields.
• Eligible for full-time employment in Summer 2029.
• Legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance programs by assisting with permit reviews, reporting, documentation, and assessments.
• Analyze environmental data and develop tools to improve reporting and tracking.
• Perform engineering calculations and support reviews related to air emissions, wastewater, and waste management.
• Participate in environmental sampling, inspections, audits, and monitoring activities.
• Assist with incident investigations and continuous improvement projects to reduce risk.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and EHS teams on project work.
