CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Spring 2027 Co‑Op to join our team and gain real‑world experience on projects that make a difference in communities across the country. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, collaborate with fellow interns, and get the chance to see how engineering solutions move from an idea on paper to a project in the real world.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Preference for ArcGIS, CADD, Excel and Access knowledge.

Responsibilities

• January to May co-op cycle availability.
• Research and develop engineering solutions from analysis to reporting and design.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, interns, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Build reports, presentations, maps, designs using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CAD, Excel.
• Participate in field activities to observe construction management and project lifecycle.
• Develop technical and professional skills and expand network within water, infrastructure and environmental engineering.
• Perform other duties as required.
