CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Fall 2026 Co-Op to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Job Description

CDM Smith is looking for an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Fall 2026 Co‑Op to join our team. You will be working with a dynamic group of industry‑leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of municipal, federal, and industrial projects. Students with an Environmental or Civil Engineering background will collaborate across multi‑discipline project teams, research engineering solutions to support analyses, reporting, and design, and assist in developing documents and presentations using tools such as ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software. Opportunities may also arise to assist with fieldwork for our construction management activities to provide a full project lifecycle experience.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors or Master’s in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate would be seeking a Fall 2026 Co‑Op.

Pay Range

USD $19.97 – USD $35.20
