Fort Pierce Utilities Authority seeks a professional engineer to coordinate, design, estimate, and prepare specifications for water and wastewater systems. You will supervise engineers and drafting staff, prepare plans, and liaise with developers and consultants to ensure standards are met.

The role requires a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, Florida E.I./P.E. is desirable, and a valid FL driver’s license.

Formación

• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2 years experience with a utility or a consulting engineer in Water/Wastewater.
• Registration as an Intern Engineer (E.I.) or as a Professional Engineer (FL) is highly desirable.
• Valid Florida driver's license required.
• Experience may be substituted with equivalent training.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and approve design and construction plans for water/wastewater systems.
• Confer with engineers on large projects and subdivision utility locations.
• Coordinate cost estimates, permits, and contractor oversight for engineering projects.
• Provide technical engineering advice to customers and departments.
• Assist with GIS mapping and design drawing preparation.
