Shape the Future of Florida’s Water Infrastructure

Are you ready to tackle some of the most important engineering challenges impacting communities across Florida? We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to bring innovative thinking, technical expertise, and collaborative energy to a growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects, from designing new treatment plants to rehabilitating aging systems.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Plan, design, and oversee construction of water and wastewater treatment systems.
  2. Develop distribution and collection systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks.
  3. Manage facility upgrades, rehabilitations, process optimizations, and greenfield developments.
  4. Collaborate with engineers, EITs, CAD designers, and consultants.

You will participate in technical and project leadership roles, with opportunities for growth into project management.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop detailed designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  2. Perform or manage process designs and hydraulic modeling.
  3. Prepare technical reports, permitting documents, and engineering analyses.
  4. Lead or support multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of delivery.
  5. Coordinate with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and internal departments.
  6. Stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience in civil/environmental engineering focusing on water/wastewater infrastructure.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
  3. Proven knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, pump systems, and conveyance infrastructure.
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and maintain documentation.
  6. Proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated approach.
  7. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
  8. Knowledge of water quality regulations at state and federal levels.
  9. Experience working with public sector clients.
