Job summary

• Ability to manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits with a focus on water/wastewater/stormwater or waste/SPCC/chemical management.
• Member of the site EHS team, supporting environmental compliance activities for a large union manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure permit and regulation compliance.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate all environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Prepare and submit required reports and maintain records.

Job description

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
