Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group in Indianapolis. You will support planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, pipelines, and related infrastructure while growing technical expertise.

You will work with experienced engineers on projects meeting federal, state, and local standards, gaining hands-on office and field experience and exposure to full project lifecycles in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support site assessments, field investigations, and project studies.
• Assist with design development and adjust design parameters.
• Perform water quality analyses, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation for meetings and conferences.
• Use ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel for design and analysis.
• Coordinate office and field activities to support rehabilitation projects.
• Participate in fieldwork and construction management activities.
