Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Water Services Group in Denver, CO. This early-career opportunity focuses on applying engineering skills to sustainable water projects and growing within a dynamic team.

You will help design water and wastewater facilities, sewer systems, pipelines and related infrastructure, under supervision, ensuring compliance with standards and client specs. Fieldwork and client-facing tasks may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Support the design and implementation efforts within the Water Services Group.
• Perform site assessments, adjust design parameters as needed and conduct water quality analyses and modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and collaborate on client presentations and industry conferences.
