Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 10 years construction experience, preferably water mains and sewers.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity overseeing contracts and subordinates.
• Willingness to be vocal with contractors to ensure specifications are followed.

Responsibilities

• Manage response to remediation requests for water and sewer failures via emergency contracts.
• Oversee procurement of emergency repair contracts for water mains and sewers.
• Oversee replacement and relocation of water and sewer facilities in large projects.
• Liaise with agencies and private developers to coordinate related work.
• Lead engineers, oversee budget, and monitor work orders for timely completion.
