Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer II to join our Anchorage, AK team. The role focuses on collecting, synthesizing, and documenting environmental data related to stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and waste regulations while supporting permit preparation and reporting.

You will engage in field support, data analysis, and documentation, guiding junior staff and contributing to a safe, collaborative project environment in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or other engineering discipline.
• Five to ten years of experience on environmental projects or in an environmental analytical laboratory.
• Must meet ADEC’s definition of a Qualified Professional.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to drive per the company policy.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines and project direction.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians on data collection and evaluation.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance for project documentation.
• Review and document permits, plans, reports, licenses to ensure compliance and restoration objectives.
• Prepare charts or graphs from data samples and summarize environmental relevance.
• Determine data collection methods for site surveys and investigations.
• Support project planning, RFP responses, and deliverables with cost-effective solutions.
