Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer II to work from Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves collecting, synthesizing, and documenting data for environmental compliance tasks including stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and storage regulations, with potential field supervision.

You will support permit preparation and review, safety programs, and coordination with project staff to meet environmental objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or other engineering discipline.
• Five to ten years of experience on environmental projects or in an environmental analytical laboratory.
• Must meet ADEC’s definition of a Qualified Professional.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians and staff for data collection and evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation support for permits, plans, and reports.
• Review and document environmental standards to ensure compliance and restoration objectives.
• Assist in project planning, RFP responses, and safe execution of field work.
