Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Milwaukee team. The role supports environmental assessment and remediation projects within our Resilience Environment group, with potential fieldwork and travel across the U.S.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and teambuilding skills and be comfortable in a dynamic workflow. Travel is required and candidates may travel up to 75% in early years; strong communication and MS Office proficiency are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or closely related field.
EIT Certification (preferred).
MS in Environmental or Civil Engineering (preferred).
Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (preferred).
Experience with the listed engineering software tools.

Responsibilities

Support environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks with PMs/TMs.
Assist design including land development planning, hydraulic modeling, erosion control, and earthwork design.
Develop permit/construction-level drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
Prepare subcontracts and oversee subcontractors.
Perform fieldwork with health and safety emphasis, including sampling and site inspections.
Write technical reports, work plans, and memoranda.
Coordinate tasks, compile data, budgets, and scheduling; contribute to proposals and strategy.
