Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Technical Intern / Environmental Engineering Intern for Milwaukee, WI in Summer 2027. The role focuses on remediation projects within a supportive, team-driven environment, offering mentoring and growth opportunities.

The candidate will gain exposure to soil, water, and vapor sampling, design calculations, and regulatory tasks, with a path to potentially convert to full-time after graduation. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic design tools desired.

Responsibilities

• Involved in systems design, hydraulic evaluation, and design reports.
• Assist with construction documents, specifications, and oversight.
• Provide field and office support for site investigations (soil, water, vapor).
• Support remediation system operation and project teams.
• Contribute to data compilation, QA/QC, and cost estimates.
• Assist with treatment design calculations and drawings.
• Assist with air emissions characterization and permitting.
