Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Resilience Environment team in Milwaukee, WI. The role starts in June 2027, with graduates encouraged to apply, and involves field and office work, travel, and collaboration with senior scientists and project managers.

You will support environmental assessment and remediation projects, assist with site investigations, design and reporting, and engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and TMs with planning and performing site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.
• Perform civil/environmental engineering design including land development planning, hydraulic modeling, and earthwork layout.
• Prepare technical specs, construction cost estimates, and subcontracts.
• Conduct fieldwork focusing on health and safety, including sampling and site oversight.
• Write reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda; support project coordination and scheduling.
