Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Milwaukee team. The role supports environmental assessment and remediation projects, with a focus on emerging contaminants and teamwork with senior staff.

You will participate in field investigations and design tasks, with travel up to 75% during the first years and opportunities to develop through MS/PKG projects across the US. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or closely related field (i.e., environmental, biological, physical science)
• EIT Certification preferred
• MS degree preferred
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and TMs with planning and performing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks
• Civil/Environmental engineering design including land development planning, hydraulic modeling/calculations, erosion and sediment control evaluations and layout
• Prepare permit/construction-level drawings and details, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates
• Prepare subcontracts and oversee subcontractors
• Fieldwork including soil, sediment, surface water and groundwater sampling, geotechnical investigations, and construction oversight
• Write technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
• Office tasks: data compilation, cost estimates, safety plans, report writing, project scheduling and budget management
