Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Civil Engineer for our Green Bay, WI or Marquette, MI office to support environmental and engineering practices in the Midwest.

Tasks include investigation/remediation, due diligence, and permitting for clients in waste, mining, and power sectors. Responsibilities span Phase I/II ESAs, storm water plans, air/waste permits, and field sampling with documentation of remediation and construction activities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geology.
• 4 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, and/or Certified Hydrogeologist preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments and related reports.
• Assist with Storm Water and Pollution Prevention Plans and environmental permitting.
• Contribute to field sampling of groundwater, soil, soil vapor, landfill gas, and other media.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and technical memorandums; communicate with project teams.
