Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support due diligence, site investigations, remediation, and environmental compliance projects across the Baltimore, MD area with reporting lines to the Baltimore, MD, Herndon, VA or Washington, DC offices. The role involves planning and implementing investigations, assisting with remediation projects, and preparing technical reports and data summaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
  • 3–5 years in environmental engineering.
  • EIT Certification and pursuing PE.
  • Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and compile environmental data from air, soil, water, and other matrices.
  • Assist environmental investigations and remediation planning.
  • Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and visuals.
  • Support site health and safety plans (HASPs) and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project needs.
