Job summary

Mosaic is seeking an Environmental Engineer Co-Op/Intern for Summer 2027 at the Bartow site in Florida. The position involves cross-functional support for ESG targets, environmental permitting, and field work, with opportunities to learn from professionals and gain experience on a global leader’s projects.

The role requires enrollment as an Environmental Engineering student, a minimum 2.75 GPA, and willingness to travel to various Florida sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering; junior level or above by May 2027.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Ability to operate in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
• 1–2 years of volunteering or student group work preferred.
• Previous internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; travel to sites/office as needed.
• Must be able to work full-time while enrolled as a student during co-op/internship.

Responsibilities

• Support ESG targets and permitting projects with cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct environmental field work and project management tasks (groundwater sampling, inspections, improvement projects).
• Work on ESG-related project management with a focus on net zero roadmap modeling.
• Contribute to annual and ad hoc reporting; gather data and insights from stakeholders.
• Perform environmental testing and sampling following regulations and schedules; provide training for ongoing compliance.
• Troubleshoot and manage field sampling data using the database system.
• Communicate with management, engineers, operators, trades, and contractors across levels.
• Participate in department and project meetings; align with Mosaic’s mission and priorities.
