Job summary
The Mosaic Company is offering an Electrical Engineer Co-Op/Internship for Summer 2027 at the Bartow site, with some travel to Florida sites as needed. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.
The role covers electrical power system reliability improvements and diagnostic work, with in-person duties and a 36-40 hour week schedule. Ideal candidates are in the 3rd year of an Electrical Engineering program, maintaining a 2.7 GPA or higher, and have basic knowledge of AC
Qualifications
- Third year or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
- 2.7 GPA or higher.
- Experience with electrical power system modelling software is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist in electrical power system reliability improvement projects.
- Participate in root cause failure analysis and corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot electrical power system issues and outages.
- Model electrical power systems using software and verify with field data.
- Support relay network expansion and maintenance planning.
- Communicate with management, engineers, operators, and contractors.
